Clientwise: A Comprehensive Asset Workflow Tool from Origination to Delivery and Tracking
Summary
In 2010, Jollywise was creating and localising marketing assets for Disney Movies International, alongside assets from other agencies, all managed through a digital toolkit. With an increasing demand for assets—ranging from banner ads, overlays, microsites, and games to Facebook apps—the complexity of localisation and volume of work grew rapidly.
To address these challenges, I architected and delivered an automated workflow tool, Clientwise, which streamlined delivery times, reduced errors, ensured quality assurance, and served as a single destination for asset management. It offered advanced distribution, access control, auditing, and reporting features.
We later licensed Clientwise to Universal Pictures and Penguin Random House.
The Journey
I officially joined Jollywise in early 2011 after providing freelance support for over a year, advising on strategy and developing technical assets such as games, widgets, and microsites.
As the volume of work increased, existing solutions became inadequate. My vision was to build a comprehensive workflow tool that would manage the entire lifecycle of asset creation, from preview and review, through translation and localisation, to final delivery and analytics.

To ensure seamless integration across the production process, we connected our internal tools like Jira and SVN, creating a unified workflow for every stage of asset creation.
Goals & Outcomes
Clientwise revolutionised how Jollywise delivered hundreds of marketing assets for each movie release across 17 markets. It significantly improved both the quality and accessibility of assets.
The system removed many operational bottlenecks and became essential to everyone involved in the asset workflow. This transformation helped position Jollywise as a serious agency partner, supporting the company’s growth since 2011.
Additionally, Clientwise was licensed to Universal Pictures and Penguin Random House, expanding its impact beyond our original scope.
My Roles
As the Product Lead, I was responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from vision and strategy to wireframes, roadmap creation, execution, and continuous improvement. I led the team in developing the product and managed stakeholders to ensure that all needs were addressed. Our shared commitment to the vision and the clear benefits kept everyone aligned and motivated.
Over time, the product strategy evolved as we added more features, continually optimising Clientwise to meet the changing demands of the market.
